Ha Ha Ha! Do you practice your smile? Or do you only wait for the sun to come to you? A smiling practice is a great way to explore the natural happiness your smile can bring to you -- at any time!
Many years ago I saw an American Buddhist office worker. Their cubicle was decorated with prayer beads and statues of the Buddha. Above this office worker's head was a sign reminding you to practice smiling! I had never heard of a smiling practice before; however, I tucked the idea into the back pocket of my mind.
It took many years before I put this advice into action. Don't wait!! Try smiling for no reason today. Try smiling when things are tough and the situation your are in will benefit. If you smile when life or relationships are difficult, your smile will come through for you extra bright when you are glad. Confidence and happiness are some of the many benefits of a smiling practice.
